If your church is running one or two trips a year and you are fine collecting checks by hand, the Free plan actually covers that. If you want to accept online donations, Starter is $9/month. If you are running an active missions program with multiple trips a year, Ministry is $39/month. That is the entire decision tree.

Free is not a trial. It is a full working plan for churches running one or two trips a year.
Most "free" software is a time-limited trial or a stripped-down preview designed to push you to upgrade. GO's Free plan is a real plan. No credit card. No 30-day countdown. No locked features hidden behind a paywall you hit on day one.
On the Free plan you can create up to 5 active trips, take applications, assign tasks to individuals or the whole team with automated reminders, email announcements to the team, collect e-signatures on waivers and forms, build day-by-day itineraries, record cash and check gifts or import them from a spreadsheet, and keep everything in 250 MB of storage per trip. The help center is open to you forever.
What the Free plan doesn't include: online donation processing. If your gifts come in as checks and cash, the Free plan is enough. When you want donors to give online by card or bank transfer, move up to Starter.

We do not charge platform fees on donations. A lot of church software platforms tack on an extra 1-3% on top of Stripe fees: on a $100,000 trip fundraising year, that is $1,000-$3,000 taken out of the mission. We refuse to do that. Every dollar a donor gives minus the Stripe processing goes to your team. That is non-negotiable for us.
We use Stripe Connect. Donations go directly from the donor to your church's Stripe account, not through us. We never touch your donation money. This is more secure, cleaner for your accounting, and it means we cannot take a cut even if we wanted to.
Paid tiers fund the platform. Ministry plans at $39/month and Starter plans at $9/month pay for the servers, the developers, the customer support, and the features we keep adding. Churches that need more get more and pay for it. Churches that only need the basics pay nothing. That is the model.
No. GO charges zero platform fees on donations on every plan, Free, Starter, and Ministry. You only pay Stripe's standard processing: 2.9% + $0.30 for cards, or 0.8% capped at $5 for ACH bank transfers. Donors can choose to cover the fee so your team receives the full amount.

Pricing is already structured for churches and ministries. There is no separate nonprofit discount because the Free plan covers most small churches and the paid plans are priced below comparable church software. No contracts. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime. Yearly plans are billed annually with a 17% discount and can also be cancelled, though refunds on annual plans are prorated.
