You have the checklist and the budget. This is what it looks like to stop running the trip out of a spreadsheet and an inbox.
Create your trip Free for your first 5 trips. No card required to start.Name, dates, destination, and what it costs per person. Two minutes. Everything after this hangs off that one record, so the dates you enter drive the deadlines your team sees.
Invite by email, or open applications and let people apply. Each person gets their own page for forms, payments and their fundraising total, so you stop being the place information goes to get lost.
Every participant gets a page supporters can give to directly. Donations land against the right person automatically, which is the part that usually eats a treasurer's evenings.
One reason, and it is worth being plain about it: taking donations by card online requires the Starter plan at $9 a month. The free plan handles the trip itself completely, but supporters have to give by cash or check and someone records it.
Most churches start free, run a trip, and only move to Starter when chasing checks becomes the annoying part. There is no trial clock and nothing expires, so there is no rush to decide.
Honestly, maybe not. A team of six going somewhere for a week, with one organised leader, runs fine on a shared document. GO starts earning its place when you are tracking money for more than a handful of people, or when the person organising the trip is not the person who has to answer "how much has Sarah raised?"
Set it up, add a couple of people, and see whether it fits how your church already works.
